It has been a while since I wanted to prepare a sugar-free dark chocolate brownie. I wanted to be an easy and quick recipe, with rich texture and melting taste. So I made it, and it disappeared in a few seconds. At least I managed to take some pictures of it and share it with you, beautiful people.
The recipe is very easy to be prepared and most of the ingredients are replaceable if you want to do some experiments with new flavours. The taste of chocolate makes you want more and more. For me, personally, is sweet enough, but if you want to make it sweeter, you can always add more sweetener, which in this recipe I chose to be Medjool dates. Here are the ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 50 g coconut flour
- 200 g dark chocolate above 70 %
- 100 g Medjool dates
- 30 g red cranberries
- 50 g coconut butter
- 20 g hazelnuts
Method:
Heat the oven on 200 degrees without a fan. Put the dates in a blender with 150 ml hot water and blend until it looks like a puree. Melt the dark chocolate with the coconut butter in a heatproof bowl over just simmering water. Mix the eggs and add the chocolate, and the flour to them. Stir and add the puree. It is going to look like a sticky homogenous mixture. At the end add the hazelnuts and the cranberries, and stir again. Pour it in a baking tin with baking paper and bake for 25 minutes. Cool it before slicing. If you don’t follow a diet plan, you can add a vanilla ice cream scoop to it and serve. Enjoy!
